MCJ Announces Class XI Lateral Entry Admissions – 2026
The registration process for Class XI Lateral Entry (Session 2026) at Military College Jhelum (MCJ) is open now. Candidates seeking admission to the college are advised to complete their registration within the prescribed timeline through the official MCJ website.
The entry test is scheduled for 3 May 2026.
Registration Fee
- Normal / Single Fee (10 Apr 2026) – Rs. 3000/-
- Late / Double Fees (20 Apr 2026) – Rs. 6000/-
- Late / Triple Fees (25 Apr 2026) – Rs. 9000/-
Eligibility
- Age. 15 to 17 years as on 01 July 2026, however, waiver of 90 days will be granted by the competent authority in upper and lower age (i.e ± 90 Days) in all categories as per existing rules for which candidate will have to apply.
Qualification. Matric Passed and those students who are appearing in Annual Matric Exams 2026 can also apply.
- Only Male candidates can apply.
- Merited Status. Unmarried
- Ineligibility
- Withdrawn from any Armed Forces/ Provincial / Govt’s cadet colleges on Discipline / Character.
- Submitting Tampered Certificates/ Documents.
- Overage / Under Age (other than prescribed age waiver).
- Declared UNFIT by Medical Board.
- Concealment of Info in Application Form.
Selection Procedure
- Entrance exam will be held on Sunday, 03 May 2026. Written Test (Objective / Subjective) will be held in English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from syllabus of 9th and 10th classes (common topics of National Curriculum l Federal Text Book Board & Punjab Text Book Board).
- Admission will be granted only on Open Merit and Self Finance, basing on Matric Result, Written Test, Intelligence Test, Interview and Medical Examination.
- Finally selected candidates will only be informed through College website.

Note: Incomplete, without required amount of challan form and applications received after due date, will not be entertained. No excuse / complaint for being late will be entertained as Online Admission System will be Disabled after due date. Examination Centre will not be changed once selected.
Furthermore, there is no Refund Policy for ‘Registration Fee’ in any case. In case of any change in date of written test, it will be updated on the College Website.
It is pertinent to mention that Military College Jhelum run under patronage of Pakistan Army and does not have any collaboration with Cadet College Jhelum (Private Institution).
Candidates will be discouraged who are trained / coached from the Private Coaching Centres / Academies for admission at MCJ.
Use of Mobile Phone and Smart Watch is strictly prohibited in written Examination, however Calculator is allowed to use.
